REQUIRED CLEARANCES FOR COACHES AND ON-COURT PRACTICE VOLUNTEERS

ACT 34 PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK

All coaches and on-court volunteers shall submit the results of the Act 34 Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police. The check can be done online and typically is available immediately. Below is the link for the Act 34 Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check. This clearance is free for unpaid volunteers.

ACT 151 PENNSYLVANIA CHILD ABUSE HISTORY CLEARANCE

All coaches and on-court volunteers shall submit the results of the Act 151 PA Child Abuse History Clearance. The check can be done online and typically available within a week. This clearance is free for unpaid volunteers.

FBI FEDERAL CRIMINAL HISTORY CLEARANCE 

All coaches and on-court volunteers shall submit the results of FBI Federal Criminal History Clearance, which included the fingerprint search. Volunteers may submit an exemption affidavit if they have been a continuous resident for the entirety of the previous 10 year period.  The exemption is free of charge for unpaid volunteers. If you are NOT ELIGIBLE for the exemption the cost is $22.95.
